Here is the same thing with the OBJs converted to TGOs. You may well want to muck around with the texturing etc, but at least you can load and render them without crashing TGTP

No Leaf Tree
Willow 13S
Willow 47A
Willow 56S

The original models for the Willows came from Ashundar by Harvey Birdman, in .OBJ format. I just ran them through Poseray, adding UV maps, added the bark image map and saved them as .TGO files. The No Leaf Tree is one that I made for a specific scene and I thought it may be usefull to all you mad fools out there. Feel free to use and abuse it.

All are in TGO format with any maps used. You may want to tweak the size etc of the maps to suit. The files are compressed with winzip to keep the file sizes down.

Littleleaf Linden
Closeup
Hickory...ish
Closeup

2 new trees from me. The 1st is a Littleleaf Linden (Tilia Cordata). This has a displacement map and an image map for the bark and 3 separate leaf groups. I have used (and included) 2 different image maps, 1 a yellowy orange and the other a lot greener. I assigned the orange leaf to 2 groups and the green to the remaining group to give it an early autumn feel. Also included is a transparency map for the leaves.

The second is sort of a Hickory, though I don't know if the leaves are right for it. As above there is an image and displacement map for the bark and an image, tranceparency AND displacement map for the leaves.

Both are shown next to a 2m diameter sphere to give an idea of scale. All the files including image maps are zipped with Win Zip. Be sure to unzip them into their own directories with all the image maps in the same directory as the tgo. Is there anyone out there using Win Rar? I find that it gives much better compression than Win Zip.

In case anyone is worried, my pc sits behind AVG Professional Virus scanner with the latest virus definition files installed so the files are about as safe as you can get!
